This page offers maps of campus, including satellite ceremony times and locations. You may print them out and bring them with you, or pick up an information packet at a campus information booth on commencement morning (while they last). This packet is the same as the one mailed to students’ permanent addresses in February.
Seating & Line-up Maps
All of these maps are included in the Commencement Information Packet mailed to all graduating students and their families in February.
Satellite Ceremonies and Receptions List
Look up your academic program to find where you will have to line up by 8:00 a.m. (your procession assembly point) for the main commencement ceremony, as well as information on times and locations for all satellite ceremonies and receptions.
Procession and Seating Assembly Points
Once you know which column you line up in for the main ceremony (columns A-F, see above), this map will show you where you’ll line up with your classmates, and where your school will be seated. For example, students from the Viterbi School of Engineering line up in Column F, which means they should assemble south of the Hancock Building by 8:00 a.m. on Commencement morning, and they will march in and sit in the southwest corner of Alumni Park. There will be faculty marshals present at all assembly locations to help students line up and march.
The faculty and Ph.D. candidates will assemble inside Bovard Auditorium at 8:00 a.m. on Commencement morning.
