Parking is free for official commencement-related activities on commencement day and on the day prior (Thursday, May 14), although guests must still get a parking permit from the gate attendant. Parking is extremely limited on campus, and due to the large crowd expected at commencement, parking facilities will fill up early. The University Parking Center, on the corner of Jefferson Boulevard and Grand Avenue, is recommended for all degree candidates, their families and guests.
If you arrive late and all campus parking facilities are filled, you can park at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (also for free), accessible off of Exposition Boulevard.
We recommend you take the Metro Expo Line if at all possible. It will be running on its usual schedule and stops immediately south of campus at Exposition Boulevard and Trousdale.
Guests With Disabilities
For guests with disabilities, please enter campus through Gate #4, located on Jefferson Blvd. at the Royal Street intersection, and drop off in front of the New North Residential College. Vehicles will then be directed to park at PS1 on the corner of Figueroa Street and Exposition Boulevard (enter the structure off of Flower Street)
