The 2025 Commencement marks the 142nd graduation ceremony for the University of Southern California. Each year, this milestone celebration honors the achievements of our graduating students and officially welcomes them into the global Trojan Family.
Throughout the week, every academic school hosts its own ceremony, offering graduates the chance to celebrate with their classmates, hear from distinguished speakers, and walk across the stage to be personally recognized. Many ceremonies are followed by receptions for graduates, families, and faculty.
Ph.D. candidates are also honored at official hooding ceremonies hosted by select USC schools, including USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism; the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences; the Marshall School of Business; the Rossier School of Education; and the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.
