ADA Parking Reservations
Guests requiring ADA parking are encouraged to pre-register for a parking space at the Royal Structure on Friday, May 16, by using our ADA Parking Reservation Link. A valid state-issued ADA placard or license plate must be presented to the gate attendant for verification.
For ADA parking in other campus structures throughout commencement week, please visit our Transit and Parking page. Accessible spaces in these structures will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accommodations
We are committed to ensuring that all graduates and guests have an accessible and enjoyable Commencement experience. All ceremony venues will include designated accessible seating areas.
For Academic School Ceremonies, graduates or guests who need accommodations should contact the ceremony coordinator for the graduate’s school in advance. Contact details for each school are available on the Academic School Ceremonies page.
Accommodations at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
For guests attending a ceremony at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, we recommend contacting the Coliseum’s accessibility team as early as possible at lamcinfo@usc.edu to arrange accommodations and ensure a smooth experience.
Graduates using a wheelchair or experiencing mobility difficulties for the Main University Ceremony on Thursday, May 15th, can join the procession through an accessible entrance. Please note that the Coliseum may have uneven terrain and requires a significant amount of walking; we encourage graduates to plan accordingly.
A Coliseum shuttle will operate continuously on Thursday, May 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., running between the Pardee Way Gate at Exposition Boulevard (USC campus) and Gate 19 near Bill Robertson Lane and Exposition Park Drive. Wait times for pick-up and drop-off may be approximately 15–20 minutes.
For detailed information about ADA services at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, visit the ADA Information webpage.
Wheelchair Loans
The university will offer a limited number of courtesy wheelchair loans on Friday, May 16, on the main USC campus. Wheelchairs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at no cost. Pickup is located on Taper Hall Lawn, off Trousdale Parkway near West 34th Street. Checkout begins at 7:30 a.m., and all wheelchairs must be returned by 8:00 p.m. the same day.
Please note that the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum does not provide wheelchairs loan but instead offers a wheelchair transport program. Guests may contact lamcinfo@usc.edu for details.
For guests who may have difficulty walking long distances, we strongly recommend bringing or renting a wheelchair or personal mobility device for the day.
Courtesy Shuttle Service
Please note that there is a considerable walking distance between parking areas and ceremony locations. To assist guests with limited mobility, a courtesy shuttle will be available on Friday May 16th, making continuous stops at designated locations on campus. However, due to high pedestrian traffic, shuttle arrival times may vary. Additionally, a limited-time golf cart service will supplement the courtesy shuttles to provide extra assistance.
