The main USC Commencement ceremony is a non-ticketed, open seating event. Academic school ceremonies may require tickets; please check with the specific school. The Baccalaureate Ceremony, held on May 9, is also a non-ticketed, open seating event. The Baccalaureate Dinner that follows the event is a reservation-only event that is paid in advance.
If you are traveling from outside of the Los Angeles area for Commencement, it is highly recommended to reserve accommodations early.

Other popular visitor neighborhoods—Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Pasadena, offer a variety of hotels at different price points.
